The Scientific Council is a collective body of scientific leadership of IEES BAS with a four-year term. The organization and operation of the councel are defined by the Rules and Procedures of the Scientific Council at IEES BAS (in Bulgarian).

General Assembly of Scientists
The General Assembly of Scientists includes all persons of principle employment at the permanent scientific unit occupying academic positions or holding a science doctorate. Its activity is regulated by the Statute of BAS (in Bulgarian) and a Organizational and Operational Rules of IEES BAS (in Bulgarian).
