“ACADEMICIAN EVGENI BUDEVSKI”

The 6th national conference "Sofia Electrochemical Days 2017 (SED'17)'' with international participation was held at the Institute of Electrochemistry and Energy Systems - Bulgarian Academy of Sciences from 10th to 13th of May, 2017. It was dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the institute. The forum gathered more than 80 participants from 12 countries - young and well-established scientists, representatives of various academic institutions and companies. For the first time the conference was sponsored by the International Electrochemical Society (ISE).

On May 11, 2017, the Institute of Electrochemistry and Energy Systems "Acad. Evgeni Budevski" celebrated its 50th anniversary. The event was attended by Academician Julian Revalski, BAS Academicians, heads of scientific units of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, as well as representatives of various academic institutions and companies with whom the Institute successfully collaborates. On the occasion of the jubilee, the Management Board of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences awarded the honorary plaque of BAS “Marin Drinov” for merits for the development of electrochemistry in Bulgaria and globally.
