Научно-изследователска област

В секция „Електрохимични методи“ се разработват конвенционални и авангардни електрохимични методи - импедансна, диелектрична и кулонометрична спектроскопии, нестационарен и диференциален анализ, спектрални трансформации и образна диагностика. Извършва се тестване и окачествяване на батерии и горивни клетки, в това число се изследват, моделират и диагностицират високотемпературни твърдооксидни горивни клетки (SOFC). Провежда се диагностика на крупни индустриални батерии. В секцията се разработват интелигентни водородни и хибридни системи за съхранение на енергия и транспортни приложения.
